As part of the development of the Draft Transport Strategy for the Greater Dublin Area, the Park & Ride Development Office developed a Park & Ride Strategy for the Greater Dublin Area. This strategy has considered existing and future demand for Park & Ride taking account of existing and future public transport provision. A strategic Park & Ride site has been identified off Junction 6 of the M4 which would like with a new station on the DART+ West line between Leixlip and Maynooth.
