To ask the Minister for Health if it is intended to add any issues relating the availability of medical devices to the agenda of the next European Union Health Council Meeting that is due to take place on 17 June 2022; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The next meeting of the Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Council (Health) is due to take place in Luxembourg on 14 June 2022. I understand the draft agenda will include an item relating to the implementation of the Medical Devices Regulation.
