To ask the Minister for Health the programme for the provision of primary care centres throughout County Kildare having regard to those already in operation, those planned and approved or those pending; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Health Service Executive has been requested to reply directly to you in regard to your parliamentary question, which you submitted to the Minister for Health for a response. I have examined the matter and the following outlines the position.

The Health Service Executive can confirm a new Primary Care Centre in Naas Co Kildare is planned to meet the needs of the growing population this is in the early stage of development. There are also plans for Primary Care Centres to provide for the population in Leixlip and Maynooth which are at the early stage of development and the HSE Capital and Estates are currently in negotiations for same. The below primary cares are fully operational.

Network 11 – South Kildare & West Wicklow	 Athy Primary Care Centre  Baltinglass Primary Care Centre
Network 12 – West & Central Kildare	 Newbridge Primary Care Centre  Kildare Primary Care Centre  Rathangan Primary Care Centre
Network 13 – North East Kildare	 Celbridge Primary Care Centre
Network 14 – North West Kildare	 Clane Primary Care Centre  Kilcock Primary Care Centre
